We have reaffirmed our commitment to support Children with Cancer UK after naming them as our charity of the year for the fourth consecutive year.
We began our association with Children with Cancer UK at the beginning of 2013 by donating a collection of Wembley Stadium tickets to the charity’s annual fundraiser ball.
Having raised in excess of £4,000 in previous years through this method, we have once again agreed to place a series of highly sought after Wembley Stadium tickets up for grabs to the highest bidder.
Four corporate tickets will be available to attend one of the FA Cup semi-final games and four more to see the Capital One cup final. A further four tickets will also be donated to another high-profile sporting fixture later on in the year.
Darren Evans, Managing Director originally got involved with the Children with Cancer UK after reading a tweet by star of Dragons’ Den, Theo Paphitis in 2013.
Darren said: “Children with Cancer UK do an amazing job helping families and children through difficult times and it was an easy decision for us to support this great work. As well as raising life-saving funds for essential research, welfare and campaigning programmes, the tickets we donate are also given to families battling cancer.
“The first set of tickets we donated was given to the family of twelve-year-old cancer survivor Kalem, as a football fanatic he was thrilled to spend the day at Wembley. For me, the best part is giving some light and happiness to people facing truly difficult and challenging circumstances.”
Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Dedicated to the fight against all forms of children’s cancer, Children with Cancer UK have raised an astonishing £150 million since it was founded in 1988.
We would also like to become affiliated with the work of a housing charity, and we are looking for suitable candidates.
We’d love to organise some fund-raising events, donate a portion of our fees and encourage our clients to do the same.
If you feel that your charity would be a good match, or you know of one that might, please do get in touch with us.
